We operate in Israel the oldest and most reputable, highly professional office of independent marine surveyors, adjusters and consultants, specializing in marine-air-land, transport risks, damages and claims.
Our office is strategically located in the midst of the country's business center near Tel-Aviv, within easy reach of all ports and most of Israel's industrial and trade areas which are located less than 1 hour's drive.
Uri M. Astel started his office in 1967 and in 1993 Nimrod, his son joint the office.
Eitan Maizel & Dani Frumer operated their joint office since 1984.
In 1996, we, the Astels and Dan-Eitan merged our separate offices into the current partnership;

Uri M. Astel, our eldest, practices since 1965 as marine surveyor & adjuster, started his own office in 1967. Specializes in marine insurance, carriers' liabilities, airfreight handling, hi-tech risks (electronics, aeronautical & medical); Materials, equipment, technologies and projects interaction. Also specializing in steel and bulk chemicals, coffee & tea, fresh, chilled & frozen; fruits, flowers, vegetables, fish & meat and other perishables.

Nimrod Z. Astel, Uri's son, joint the office in 1993 as marine-air cargo surveyor, specializes in issues involving international trade & commerce, economy & marketing aspects (implications on claims). Also specializing in loss or damage to airfreight & containerized goods, including, theft control, loss prevention & pre-shipment supervision.

More over, Nimrod Sensei, San-Dan (3rd Dan), teaches Karate and heads our affiliated Dojo.

Dan Frumer, a marine cargo surveyor, since 1975, specializing in machinery & parts, clothing, domestic appliances & personal effects. He also is a licensed motor vehicle loss adjuster, as required by the Israeli authorities, for handling motor car and mobile equipment losses.
